The space
You'll have one bedroom with a private full bath downstairs for anyone that prefers sleeping on the first floor. There is an additional half bath on the first floor as well. There are 4 bedrooms with 2 full baths upstairs with one of these full baths having a separate dressing area with 2 additional sinks. Your upstairs and downstairs porches provide a relaxing atmosphere for reading, napping or enjoying the beautiful grounds. There's even a flat swing on the upstairs porch for catching a cat nap.
Other things to note
Burke County is known as Nature's Playground. Here you can visit an 80 foot waterfall, climb mountains, go biking, go boating on Lake James, fish, golf, or enjoy wine tasting at wineries. If you have a group of 12 or more golfers, Mimosa Hills, a private golf resort, will book your group. Otherwise you can golf at Silver Creek Golf Resort or Orchard Hills. Downtown Morganton and Valdese have regular live music and breweries if you would like either or both.
