The Old Rock School in Valdese, North Carolina has become well-known throughout the nation for its outstanding bluegrass concerts. The 478-seat auditorium is the perfect place to hear all of your favorite legendary artist. The Old Rock School staff are very excited about the extended 2026-2027 season, featuring bands that have never performed at the Rock before, mixed with familiar, best-loved classics.

Five-time International Bluegrass Music Association (IBMA) Banjo Player of the Year, and winner of the Steve Martin Prize for Excellence in Banjo and Bluegrass, Sammy Shelor leads the group that is constantly breaking new ground in acoustic music.
