The Town of Valdese invites you to experience one of the area's most beloved traditions — the Valdese Family Friday Nights Summer Concert Series, a FREE, fun-filled event happening Friday nights at Temple Field, right in the heart of downtown!
Why Families Love It: This isn't just a concert — it's a community celebration! Families from all over come to enjoy an evening of live music, games, great food, and quality time together. Kids can run and play in a safe, open space, while parents relax to the sounds of talented regional bands playing everything from upbeat rock and beach tunes to soulful country and classic hits.
Fun for All Ages: Let the little ones burn off some energy with free lawn games like cornhole, tetherball, and more — all set up for endless entertainment. Bring your own blanket or lawn chairs and stretch out under the evening sky while the kids play and dance near the stage.
Family-Friendly Food & Snacks: Concession stand offers kid-approved snacks and drinks at family-friendly prices. Plus, food trucks join the fun, offering delicious dinner options that everyone in the family will love.

A Community Stage for Community Fun:
The concerts take place at Temple Field, a beautiful, open-air venue behind the Old Rock School (400 Main Street West, Valdese, NC). The stage, built in 2022 through local sponsorships, creates the perfect backdrop for a summer night full of laughter, music, and community spirit.
